EEO-1 Pay Component (Component 2) SUSPENDED

EEO-1 Reports Due March 31, 2018

On August 29, 2017 the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) informed the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) of the immediate stay on Component 2 requiring employers with over 100 employees to submit W-2 pay and FLSA hours worked in their 2017 EEO-1 reports due March 31, 2018.

This is great news! As we stated in our last Alert, Lighthouse knew this suspension was coming. Although the OMB has not officially published the change in the Federal Register, we recommend employers stop putting efforts toward the ability to extract this information from your systems. We will keep you updated on further developments once the final document is published in the Federal Register.
